Master Joe Nawrozki - Fifth dan black belt, World Tae Kwon Do Federation Chief Instructor. Studying martial arts 37 years, including four years Japanese Shodokan style and judo, hap ki do and combat knife fighting. Trained under Master Kang Joo Won, ROK Tiger Division, Republic of Vietnam; Master Yong Il Kong, Baltimore, Md.; Master Han Young Kim, Blue Dragon, Timonium, Md. Began training under Master Kang in Vietnam while serving as Army sergeant attached to ROK Tiger Div. Competed in numerous Korean and Japanese-style tournaments in New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Virginia, was a gold medallist in Maryland State Championships, 1990, finished fourth nationally in Madison, Wis. Has instructed various military, police and governmental agencies and through 1991, at Blue Dragon Dojang. Planned and participated in numerous demonstrations, including Korean Festival, Baltimore , Md. , an Baltimore Civic Center . Taught self defense for two years at the Maryland School for the Blind, Baltimore , Md. Steve Goode - Second Dan Black Belt, Assistant Tournament Coach and Assistant Instructor. Steve has been studying Tae Kwon Do for 5 years. He is a Level 2 certified coach with the UST. In 1999 he was a silver medallist at the Maryland state championships. In 2000 he was a bronze medallist at the State championships. Steve is a Sheet Metal Worker for Seneca Balance of Maryland. Tony Tommasello - Second Dan black belt, Tony is the Program Treasurer and Assistant Instructor.  Tony is an associate professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, specializing in pharmacology and helps in the fight against drug addiction. Ken Goedeke - Third Dan Black Belt, Assistant Instructor, studying Taekwondo for over 10 years. Ken is a D-3 certified referee with USTU. Ken has captured two gold medals in state competition (1996 and 1997). Ken is currently working in a Catholic youth ministry. Mr. Ken's email address is kennyigo@juno.com

 

 

 


Sandy Linkous - Is a purple belt and is our Fundraising Committee Chairperson. Each year our school has several fundraising events including basket bingos, dances and car washes.  All the proceeds from fundraising benefits ours school  As a result of our fundraising activities we were ale to purchase new equipment, send our team to he National Junior Olympics, hold annual parities and give merit awards to our students.  In 2001, Sandi captured a Bronze medal in sparring at the Maryland state Championship.  Sandi owns and operates merle Norman cosmetics and Day Spa located in Bel Air.  She volunteers her time to SARC (Sexual Assault/Spouse Abuse Resource Center) of Harford County aiding victims of spousal and sexual assault.

 

 


Tina Carr - is a purple belt and is our Perry Point Veterans Hospital Coordinator.  Each year our students visit with the veterans and we put on a variety show, distribute gifts and serve refreshments.  Most of these veterans have no family or friends in the area. Our school truly values its partnership with Perry Point because it allows our students to serve the community and to show love and compassion for their fellow man. Tina is the publisher and editor of our newsletter, the "Gold Medal Tribune". She helps coordinate fundraising activities and class events. Tina is a legal secretary at Piper Rudnick LLP.
